From Monday 17 August 2026, a number of bus services across Fife will have timetable and route changes. Some services will be revised, replaced or withdrawn, and Go Flexi coverage will be expanded. Check the latest travel information before you travel.
Stagecoach
3 - Dunfermline – Townhill
The timetable has been revised and there are now some additional journeys in the afternoon.
4, 4A - Dunfermline - Blairhall
The timetable has been revised and there are now some additional journeys in the afternoon.
4B, 4C - Fife Leisure Park - Duloch - Oakley - Blairhall - Saline – Steelend
The evening and Sunday timetable has been revised and now serves Amazon on return journeys from Fife Leisure Park. The service will now operate via Sandpiper Drive and Aberdour Road, continuing to Tesco and then the current route.
5 – Fife Leisure Park – Duloch Park - Ferrytoll
This commercial service has been withdrawn. The X57 has been revised within Dunfermline and will now serve Duloch Park between Halbeath and Ferrytoll. Connections are available with services 1, 2 and X55 at Hospital Hill.
6, 6A – Ferrytoll – Crombie – Dunfermline
The timetable has been revised with a minor change to the 08:51 schooldays journey from Limekilns/
Go Flexi is also available in this area.
7, 7A – Dunfermline – Kirkcaldy – Leven
Evening journeys have been reinstated to serve Camdean.
7B, 7C – Dalgety Bay – Kelty
The timetable has been revised and there are now some additional journeys in the afternoon.
To improve reliability the service has been withdrawn from the Spittalfield/Spencerfield loop in Inverkeithing. Service 88 continues to serve this area.
8, 8A – Dunfermline – Culross – High Valleyfield – Alloa
The timetable has been revised with an additional early Saturday journey being introduced.
19 – Rosyth – Dunfermline – Ballingry
The timetable has been revised to improve reliability.
28 – Dunfermline – Saline – Kincardine – Falkirk
The timetable has been revised.

32 – Kirkcaldy – Cardenden – Glenrothes
The timetable has been revised with a minor route change in Kirkcaldy King Street. Most journeys are also extended from Glenrothes bus station to the bus depot on Flemington Road via Morrisons and Aldi.
33, 33A, 33B – Kirkcaldy – Cardenden – Lochgelly – Halbeath P&R – Dunfermline
The timetable has been revised and there are now some additional journeys in the afternoon and evening on Mondays to Saturdays. The16:50 from Kirkcaldy now extends beyond Halbeath to Dunfermline on Mondays to Fridays.
43, 43A – Methilhill – Leven – Glenrothes – Tanshall
The timetable has been revised and there is now an additional journey in the afternoon to Methilhill.
65 – Newburgh - Perth
Early morning journeys have been retimed to better align connections to Moffat & Williamson service 35.
81, 81A, 82, 82A – Dunfermline Town Services
The timetable has been revised due to reliability issues. An additional Sunday evening journey has been introduced on service 81 at 23:45.
83 – Dunfermline – Dalgety Bay
This service is now operated by Stagecoach.
84 – Parkneuk – Hospital Hill
This service has been withdrawn. Parkneuk and East Baldridge will now be served by revised Service 31 (operated by Bay Travel). Izatt Avenue will be covered by Service 87 (operated by Stagecoach).
87 – Inverkeithing – Dalgety Bay – Dunfermline – Wellwood
This service will now be operated by Stagecoach. The route and timetable have been revised. The top of North Queensferry will now be served by Service 88.
The Go Flexi service is now available for local journeys within North Queensferry and Hillend.
88 – Inverkeithing Town Service
This service now operates between North Queensferry rail station and Inverkeithing. Rosyth Europarc is no longer served. This now covered by Go Flexi.
88A – Kincardine – Limekilns – Ferrytoll P&R – Inverkeithing
The timetable has been revised.
Go Flexi is also available in this area.
787 – Edinburgh Airport – Halbeath P&R – Kinross – Cupar – St Andrews
An additional early morning journey has been introduced at 02:25 from Edinburgh Airport to Halbeath.
X27 – Kirkcaldy – Dunfermline – Kincardine – Glasgow
The early morning and evening timetable has been revised between Kirkcaldy and Dunfermline.
X51 – Dunfermline – Ferrytoll P&R – Queensferry – Livingston
The timetable has been revised and there are now some additional journeys in the afternoon.
X56 – Perth – Kinross – Halbeath P&R – Ferrytoll P&R – Edinburgh
This commercial service will be withdrawn from Monday 24th August. Alternative journey options are currently being investigated.
X57 – Halbeath P&R – Duloch Park – Ferrytoll P&R – Edinburgh
Revised route and timetable within Dunfermline to serve Duloch Park between Halbeath Park & Ride and Ferrytoll Park & Ride.
X58 – Edinburgh – Ferrytoll P&R – Dalgety Bay – Kirkcaldy – Leven – St Andrews
Two late evening journeys from Edinburgh will divert to serve Aberdour, Burntisland and Kinghorn.
BAY TRAVEL
17B - Kelty - Cowdenbeath - Crossgates
The timetable has been revised.
31, 31A, 31B - Glenrothes - Ballingry - QM Hospital – Dunfermline - Parkneuk
Previously operated by Stagecoach. The route has been revised and now extends beyond Dunfermline bus station to Parkneuk and Baldridgeburn. Some additional journey options and most evening journeys now operate between Glenrothes bus station and Queen Margaret Hospital.
89, 89A, 89B - Crossford - Dunfermline - Garvock – QM Hospital - Duloch – N Queensferry
Previously operated by Stagecoach. The timetable has been revised.
A1 Coaches
20 - Ballingry - Lochore Meadows – Lochgelly
Previously operated by Moffat & Williamson. No change to timetable.
Moffat & Williamson
M35 / M36 - Cupar – Newburgh - Glenrothes
Revised route and timetable to improve reliability. Service M35 will now serve Cupar Muir instead of Stratheden. Newburgh nursing home is now covered by the Go Flexi. Scotland Terrace continues to be covered by Stagecoach service 65.
63 – Glenrothes – Ladybank – Kingskettle – Cupar Muir - Cupar
This service has been withdrawn and replaced by new service 66. Service M35 has been revised and will now service Cupar Muir. Tofthill is now covered by service 66.
66 Glenrothes – Tofthill – Kingskettle - Ladybank
New service to replace withdrawn service 63. This route will now serve Ladybank rail station and Church Street.
9B – St Andrews Town Service
Revised timetable to include extra afternoon journeys.
W3 – Steelend – Oakley – Crossford – Limekilns – Ferrytoll Park and Ride
New service providing early morning and early evening journeys between Steelend, Saline, Oakley, Cairneyhill, Crossford, Crombie, Charlestown and Ferrytoll P&R.
Go-Flexi – On-Demand
Go-Flexi is an on-demand bus service that provides a flexible way of travelling around rural North-East Fife and West Fife. Go Flexi is available to anyone travelling in specific Flexi Zone areas. The service can be booked 1 hour prior to travelling and can be made up to one week in advance.

M1 – Levenmouth
New zone added for Levenmouth. This service is funded by Sestran. The service is designed to take passengers to and from NHS appointments, Cameron Rail station, Leven Bus Station and supermarkets.
W1 – West Fife Villages
Due to passenger requests zones have been extended to include Carnock and Gowkhall.
W2 Forth Bridgehead
Due to passenger requests zones have been added to include Mossgreen and Castle Drive areas.
